Hey 4th graders and 4th grade teachers, Aurelio’s Pizza wants to hear about your family traditions for our annual Family Traditions Essay contest starting September 12.
We’re asking for a 300-word essay where students interview their parents and grandparents to share their special family traditions. Last year, we loved the essays and heard lots about Christmas, Easter, Hanukah, Thanksgiving and summer vacation. Plus, learned a few traditions we hadn’t heard of that were just plain fun like the Pickle Hunt and the Blast Party.
4th graders, you’ll be competing with other 4th graders in your area for prizes including everything from private class pizza parties, to free family dinners from Aurelio’s, to gift cards for classroom supplies for your teacher.
So if you’re a 4th grader or 4th grade teacher who lives within a 10-mile radius of any Aurelio’s, visit www.AureliosTraditions.com between September 12 and October 15 for submission information, judging criteria, a complete list of rules and to register. And, be sure to get your essays in by October 15, 2013.
