Annual Prairie Path Clean up in Elmhurst

Saturday, April 26, 2014.  Coordinated by the Elmhurst Bike Task Force, volunteers will meet at 9 am in the municipal parking lot by the old train depot along the Prairie Path at York and Vallette.  This is a rain or shine event.  Snow may stop us, however.  We will clean from Spring Road east to the I-290 bridge.  This will be broken into sections of about 4 blocks each and work crews assigned.  Garbage bags will be provided by the Elmhurst Park District.  We will finish no later than noon.

We recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves as you will be moving into the underbrush to make sure the Path and its environs are free of trash that has been dropped or blown in.  Gloves are also a good idea.

Services hours will be provided but you must provide your own form to be signed.
