Obituary: James G. Kosik, 69

James G. Kosik, 69, of Villa Park, formerly of Elmhurst, has died. 

He was the father of Ryan (Kelly) and the late Colleen, grandfather of Nathan, brother of Karen (Robert) Gardner, uncle of Greg (Erin) Gardner and Michelle (John) Dahlquist, great uncle of Jackson Dahlquist, and former husband of Marilyn Kosik. 

He was a mechanic with Delta Airlines for 23 years, a Vietnam War Army veteran and an Elmhurst College graduate. He loved model railroading, cycling and reading. 

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery.
