Ret. US Army Col. Frank C. Buck has died at the age of 81.
His military service spanned more than 30 years and includes the period of the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at , 134 S. York Road in Elmhurst. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the funeral home. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
