Obituary: C. Bryan Kelley III, 51, of Elmhurst

A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Bryan Kelley, 51, of Elmhurst, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 18, of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kelley (nee Borchardt); his children, Kristen, Ashlyn and Colin; his parents, Cecil and Nina Kelley of Greenville, S.C.; and his brother, Kevin Kelley of Los Angeles.

Bryan grew up in West Palm Beach, Fla., but has been a resident of Elmhurst since 1994. He had a distinguished sales career, most recently as Midwest Regional Sales Manager at Adsend. He followed his passions to the utmost degree, whether it was fly tying and fishing, photography, gourmet cooking, bar trivia or, closest to his heart, soccer. Bryan was a dedicated coach and referee for many years, and his genuine love of the game was obvious to all who knew him. His family and friends loved him very much and will miss him greatly.

A celebration of Bryan's life will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, at , 130 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst. Visitation begins at 5 p.m., followed by the service at 6 p.m.
