Barbara Kocic

Barbara U. Kocic, a longtime resident of Elmhurst, died Nov. 30. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, and her son, Tim. She is survived by her daughter, Linda, and her four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York, Elmhurst. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

Vickie Chapman

Vickie L. Chapman (nee Luff), 68, of Elmhurst, has died. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Alton Essig. She is survived by her husband, Chief Raymond Chapman; her children, Adam, Kristin and Christopher; and her nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 Cermak Road. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Visitation Church, 779 S. York St., Elmhurst.

Michael Bell

Michael W. "Mike" Bell, 50, formerly of Elmhurst, died suddenly. He was a graduate of York High School's Class of 1981.

He was preceded in death by his father, William. He is survived by his mother, Shirley; his sister, Jackie; and his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
