Robert Finan
Robert James Finan, 84, a resident of Elmhurst since 1963, died July 29. He was an Army veteran and worked as a radio news announcer in Streater, DeKalb and Kankakee. He later joined the staff at the Chicago Tribune.
Mr. Finan was a dedicated parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elmhurst. He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean, of 55 years; his children, Christopher and Jan Marie; and his four grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Immaculate Conception, 134 Arthur St., Elmhurst.

Eileen Egan
Eileen M. Egan, 85, longtime resident of Elmhurst, has died. She was a retired employee of Belden Corp. and an avid golfer.
Mrs. Egan is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Road, Elmhurst.

Judith Muhlethaler
Judith Ann Muhlethaler (nee Wagner) has died.
She is survived by her husband, Dale, and her son, Eric.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst.

Ella Huizenga Taylor
Ella Huizenga Taylor, 91, died July 31. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Knollcrest Funeral Home in Lombard, with a memorial service immediately following.
Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, Life on Wheels or Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst are appreciated.

Anthony Attardo Jr.
Anthony Attardo Jr., 57, of Elmhurst, has died.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary, and his son, Anthony J. Attardo III. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; his daughter, Angela; and his three grandchildren.
Services were held July 31 in Franklin Park.

Mary Ratz
Mary Cecelia Ratz (nee Mirtes), 100, formerly of Elmhurst, has died. She was a member of the Visitation Seniors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward. She is survived by her children, Stephen and Marilyn; her five grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 31 in Elmhurst.
