Mary Patricia Kennedy

Mary Patricia Kennedy (nee Tierney), 91, a long-time former resident of Elmhurst, died Jan. 2. She was a lieutenant in the US Navy Waves during World War II and a dedicated biology teacher in School District 45 in Villa Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur. She is survived by her children, John, Regina, Elizabeth and Patricia, and one grandchild.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at St. Mary of Gostyn Catholic Church, 445 Prairie Ave., Downers Grove.

Donna Anderson

Donna V. Anderson (Voss), 53, a 1978 graduate of York High School, died Jan. 4 from complications of frontotemporal dementia Jan. 4.

She enjoyed a successful career with Mark Shale, retiring in 2012 after 36 years.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bruce, her children, Kurt and Kirsten, and her parents, Jrgen and Dorothy Voss of Lombard.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 125 W. Church St., Elmhurst.

Richard Schneider

Richard Allen Schneider, 80, formerly of Elmhurst, has died. He was a 1951 graduate of York High School in Elmhurst and served 12 years in the US Navy Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. He is survived by his children, Terri, Victoria and Scott, and five grandchildren.
