Ruth Baker Schwenker

Ruth Baker Schwenker, 89, formerly of Elmhurst, died Sept. 14.

She is survived by her children, Kirk and Dow, and her grandson, Ryan.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle.

Louise Steffey

Louise H. Steffey (nee Watson), 86, longtime Elmhurst resident, has died. She was a charter member of Christ Methodist Church of Elmhurst and the Elmhurst American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Steffey was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by her children, Douglas, Carol and Marcia; her nine grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 19 in Elmhurst.
