Death Notices: Irene Cohrs, Pearl Hamilton, Alfred Steinbrenner

Services for Mrs. Cohrs and Mrs. Hamilton are Saturday; services for Mr. Steinbrenner were held Thursday.

Irene Cohrs

Irene Cohrs (nee Schulman), or Elmhurst, died Aug. 31.

She was preceded in death by her son, John. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her children, James, Robert, Celeste and Karen; her 13 grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and her one great- great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Zion Lutheran Church, 865 S. Church St., Bensenville.

Pearl Hamilton

Peark H. Hamilton (nee Henrichsen), 93, of St. Charles, formerly of Elmhurst, died Sept. 1.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne. She is survived by her children, Michael, Peggy and Marcy; her two grandchildren and one step-grandchild; and her one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, 520 E. Grand Ave., Elmhurst.

Alfred Steinbrenner

Alfred F. Steinbrenner, 90, of Lombard, formerly of Elmhurst, has died. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, and his step-son, Bob Spilker. He is survived by his wife, Anna; his children, Carl, Sue and Jim, and his step-children Donna, Mike and Peggy; and his five grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held Thursday in Lombard.
