George Hanrahan

George Raymond Hanrahan, 86, a longtime resident of Elmhurst, has died. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Ellen. He is survived by his wife, Rita; his children, Sharon, Marilyn and Mark; and his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church.

Gladys Marie Gross

Gladys Marie Gross, 93, died Nov. 11 at Elmhurst Extended Care Center. She was formerly of Washington, Ill.

Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ralph. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Donald) Hoff of Elmhurst, her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Washington.
