Death Notices: Elaine Tammeling, Violet H. Scherenberg and Beverly Ann Lanphier of Elmhurst

Elaine Tammeling, nee Berger, 78, of Elmhurst, has died. She had nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 W. Brush Hill Road, Elmhurst. Interment is private.

Violet H. Scherenberg, nee Zacher, 94, of Elmhurst, has died. She had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst. Interment is private.

Beverly Ann Lanphier, nee Haney, longtime Elmhurst resident, has died. Mrs. Lanphier was an interior designer for many years.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Immaculate Conception Church, 134 Arthur, Elmhurst. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Hillside.
