Death Notice: Viola Sabel, 91, Former Parishioner of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church

Viola J. (Gau) Sabel, 91, formerly of Elmhurst, died on Tuesday, April 16, in Mount Calvary, Wisc.

Mrs. Sabel was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Elmhurst. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her daughter, Mary, and her brothers, Leo and John. She is survived by four children, 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Road in Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, at Mary Queen of Heaven, 426 N. West Ave. in Elmhurst. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
