Stavros Panoushis, 84, of Elmhurst, died Friday, Oct. 19.
He was a retired officer in the Greek Army, and a prominent businessman. He was former owner of Cottage Hill Restaurant on First Street in Elmhurst, which closed in 1982, according to the Elmhurst Historical Museum.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Road, Elmhurst. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 893 N. Church Road, Elmhurst.
