Death Notice: Noe Gomez Jr., 18, of Elmhurst
Visitation for the 2013 York High School graduate will be held Thursday.
Noe E. Gomez Jr., 18, a 2013 graduate of York High School, died suddenly Monday.
He was the beloved son of Frances (Nick) Santiago and Noe Gomez Sr; loving brother of Jessica (fiancé Gabe) and Lisa Gomez and step-brother of Josh Santiago; dear grandson of Elida Gomez and Pauline and Luis Cervantes; fond nephew and friend of many.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Hursen Funeral Home, Roosevelt and Mannheim roads in Hillside. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at St. Simeon Church, 430 Bohland Ave., Bellwood. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
