Death Notice: Michael Brophy, of Elmhurst
Visitation and funeral Mass will be Saturday in Elmhurst.
Michael P. Brophy, 81, a native of Dublin, Ireland and resident of Elmhurst, has died.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired foreman at Pepper Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; his children, Michael, Brian, Kevin, Doreen and Eileen; and his six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York, Elmhurst.
