Death Notice: Frank Ward Foster Jr., 88, York High and Elmhurst College Graduate

Frank Ward Foster Jr., 99, a 1942 York High School graduate, died peacefully at his home in Kenosha, Wisc., April 20.

Mr. Foster grew up in Elmhurst, and he received a bachelor's degree in economics from Elmhurst College in 1951. He was a Villa Park trustee, a Salt Creek Sanitary District trustee and a member of the High School District 88 Caucus. He served in the U.S. Navy on a destroyer in the North Atlantic from 1943-46, and he worked at Argonne National Lab for nearly 30 years.

He was artistically talented and enjoyed many interests.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, three children and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Saturday, April 27, at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, Wisc.
