Death Notice: Eleanor Marie Allen, 97, of Elmhurst

Eleanor Marie Allen, 97, of Elmhurst, died April 17. She was a charter member of Christ Methodist Church in Elmhurst, where she was an organist and director of the youth choir. She was involved in the women's auxiliaries of Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra and Elmhurst College.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m.
