Eldon Lindstrom

Eldon W. Lindstrom, 79, of Belvidere, former 35-year resident of Elmhurst, died Sunday, July 7.

Mr. Lindstrom was a traffic manager for Templeton-Kenley, a hydraulic jack manufacturer. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; his children, Allen, David, Brian and JoDel; his six grandchildren; and his three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Belvidere Funeral Home, 203 Logan Ave., Belvidere. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of service.

Alice Murphy

Alice M. Murphy (nee Ryan), 97, a longtime resident of Elmhurst, has died.

Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel. She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Pat, Dan and Ginger, and her five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Road, Elmhurst.

Sister Annice Herman

Sister Annice Herman, 91, a former teacher at Immaculate Conception Grade School in Elmhurst, died July 7 in Fond du Lac, Wisc. She taught in numerous elementary schools, in addition to Immaculate Conception, between 1940 and 1983 in Wisconsin, Kansas, New York and Pennsylvania.

She was one of 11 children of Nick and Anna Herman. She entered the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes in 1935 and made her first profession of vows in 1940.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Nazareth Court and Center, 375 Gillett St., Fond du Lac.
