Carol J. Peterson, 53, formerly of Elmhurst, died Oct. 21. She was a 1978 graduate of York High School. She worked for the Department of Homeland Security for many years.
She was survived by her parents, Art and Leona; her sisters, Bonnie and Liz; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
