Elmhurst College Bluejays Demolish North Park Vikings 59-6

Elmhurst College Bluejays 59, North Park University Vikings 6

I spent time at the Elmhurst College saturday afternoon, to witness a one sided football game between the Elmhurst College Bluejays against the North Park Vikings. I had a fun time walking up and down the sidelines, taking pictures and talking with different folks from Elmhurst. It got to a point where the Bluejays were doing alot of scoring and I didnt know where to position myself for the next photo. Eventually I worked out all those details, I decided to stay in the same endzone that the Elmhurst Football team was marching towards for a touchdown.

A recap of the Elmhurst Bluejays game: Scottie Williams big day of running, 235 yards on the ground, 3 TDs, heck of a day that's for sure. The Vikings had a hard time keeping him out of the endzone. The Bluejays defense only gave up 6 points in the game, on a reverse by the Vikings on a Sam Cochiaro 39-yard touchdown.

The defense was exceptional with 2 turnovers for TDs on fumble recoveries for touchdowns: Jamall Lane, 58-yard fumble recovery, Dan Vicari 55-yard fumble recovery.

The Bluejays piled up 540 yards and 56 points in three quarters. What a amazing output from the offense. Joe Furco had a big day leading the team up and down the field, 10 - 15 passes, 130 yards, 2 TDs, 5 - 30 in rushing.

I am sure Coach Lester was impressed with the victory. Keep up with the winning Bluejays as we continue with the season.
