Elmhurst Home Makes it Into Semifinals in the Patch Deck the House Contest!

Thank you Rachel Abata for submitting a photo of this beautifully decked-out home in north Elmhurst for the Patch Deck the House contest. Your entry made it to the local semifinals! Only 15 entries in the Chicago area have made this first cut.

Anyone who has seen this house will agree that a photo simply does not do it justice. This corner property has it all: Santa's full reindeer team pulling a sleigh, a lovely nativity and lights all around.

Tonight we'll find out if this entry is among the 24 national finalists—fingers crossed. Each Top 24 finalist is guaranteed $500 to help pay those holiday-sized electric bills.

And those 24 finalists will compete for the chance to win a $100,000 donation for their public school district.
