"Attending this event is a fantastic way for the community to support a grass-roots charity," ECAF President Kevin Diamons said. "In June of this year ECAF will be celebrating 20 years of supporting Elmhurst families who have children with life threatening or disabling conditions. We are a very unique organization that relies upon our friends and neighbors attending events like Casino Night and our golf outing for our funding. It’s what makes Elmhurst special: families and businesses serving families in need. If you’re blessed with a healthy family, this is a wonderful way to give thanks for that, by supporting ECAF and helping local families who aren’t as fortunate due to an illness or accident, and the medical bills and needs associated with those situations."

Casino Night Co-Chairman Steve Rhea said, "ECAF’s Casino Night is a great way to escape cabin fever. This year’s theme is Wild West. While guests don’t have to dress according to the theme, some choose to, which is fun. We look forward to creating an entertaining night out for people while bringing awareness of ECAF to those in need and to those who’d like to support ECAF."

ECAF is also seeking donations for raffle prizes and silent auction items. For additional information regarding sponsorships or donating raffle prizes or silent auction items, call Steve Rhea at (630) 776-1604.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at ECAF4kids.org; at Elmhurst Photo Boutique, 565 Spring Road, (630) 834-4000; or by calling Kevin Diamond, (630) 993-0852.

ECAF’s goal is to assist families who have a connection to, or reside in our community, where a child’s life is impacted by a serious medical or disabling condition.  Through the community’s generosity, ECAF is able to provide families with financial assistance and to let them know they are not alone.  All names and information provided by families in need is kept confidential.  ECAF has never been stronger or more committed to its mission as it continues to be another outstanding example of why Elmhurst is a very special place for families to live.
