Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford visists Roselle Chamber

October 15, 2013-Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford took the opportunity to speak at the Roselle Chamber luncheon today in Bloomingdale, members of the Addison and Elmhurst Chambers were present as well. 
Rutherford spoke to the crowd of the financial difficulties in Illinois along with the Treasurer's office I-Cash program. 
The I-Cash program connects state residents with their unclaimed property.  In DuPage county their are 490,870 owners of $134,828,804 of unclaimed property. Treasurer Rutherford encourages everyone to check their names often as new property is constantly being turned over to the state. A link to the Treasurer’s website is http://www.treasurer.il.gov/.
