Sold! Elmhurst Home Sales: Aug. 23 Edition

What has been selling? Check out this 4,500-square-foot house on Fairview Avenue.

A brick and stone house with five bedrooms and three baths at 572 S. Fairview Ave. sold recently for $950,000.

The house has 10-foot ceilings on the first floor and 9-foot ceilings on second and lower level, gourmet kitchen and a master bedroom with two walk-in closets. The lower level is for recreation, with game, exercise and play rooms, full bath, fireplace and wet bar.
