Elmhurst Children's Assistance Foundation's Casino Night

The Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation will host its third annual Casino Night fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 18.  The theme is Viva Las Vegas.   ECAF’s Casino Night event includes fun play casino gaming for entertainment purposes only, with blackjack, craps, roulette and poker, along with many fun surprises.  Tickets are $100 per person.  The ticket price includes an open bar, light fare, dessert and entertainment.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and casino gaming is from 8 to 11 p.m.  The event will be held at Diplomat West Banquet Hall, 681 W. North Ave., at the corner of Route 83 and North Avenue.

"This is a fantastic way for the community to support a grassroots charity," ECAF President Steve Weatherford said. "If you’re blessed with a healthy family, this is a wonderful way to give thanks for that—by supporting ECAF and helping local families who aren’t as fortunate due to an illness or accident, and the medical bills and needs associated with those situations."

Casino Night Committee Chairman Steve Rhea said Casino Night is a fun way to escape cabin fever.

"This year’s theme is Viva Las Vegas," he said. "While guests don’t have to dress according to the theme, some choose to, which is fun. We look forward to creating an entertaining night out for people while bringing awareness of ECAF to those in need and to those who’d like to support ECAF."

ECAF’s goal is to assist families who have a child impacted by a serious medical or disabling condition. Through the community’s generosity, ECAF is able to provide families with financial assistance and to let them know they are not alone. All names and information provided by families in need is kept confidential.
