The Turkey Trot is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) fun-run enjoyed by thousands of runners, joggers, and walkers each year. The gun will fire promptly at 9am, and the race will begin eastbound on Vallette St.
The Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot has raised $1.5 million to date, supporting the food pantries of the Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation, the homeless shelters of Dupage PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter), and needy families and seniors identified by the United Community Concerns Association.
