York High School concert with Kerrigan and Lowdermilk

On Friday, January 17th, York High School proudly presents an evening of Kerrigan-Lowdermilk music with Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, featuring the voices of 19 York singers. Kerrigan and Lowdemilk are recognized as “the most important young writers in musical theatre today” by Talkin’ Broadway. They are among a select “handful of contemporary songwriters who are making noise in New York City’s theatre district” and are scheduled to perform in upcoming weeks at 54 Below in New York City and at the St. James Studio in London.

This is a unique opportunity for York High School and the local community to welcome the Off-Broadway writing duo.  Kerrigan and Lowdermilk will teach master classes for York performers and composers prior to the concert. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Baker Auditorium at York High School.
