Villa Park's Harvard Avenue Church presents their 2nd Annual Family Fun Fair

Join us on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for this outdoor event of free fun.
That fun includes many games, prizes, exotic petting zoo, bouncy house, crafts, and snow cones.  We also will have our dunk tank and some concessions available at a small cost.
Harvard Avenue Evangelical Free Church is located at 206 West St. Charles Road, just west of Ardmore Ave., in Villa Park.

Dunking our Pastors is a test of everyone’s pitching arm and baseball enthusiasts love to see a pastor being “baptized” after hitting the bull’s eye. “Our pastors are such good sports” declares Harvard member Milt Davies.  In addition, he states, “Many children are living in pet free homes and this is a great chance for them to pet small animals and they find it fascinating to see a snake up close and personal.”

“This free event welcomes the community to their neighborhood church” says, Fun Fair coordinator Shelby Ortez. Shelby is also Harvard’s Awana Commander. She said, “this free event is a great way for us to spread the word about our Awana program as we get to know our neighbors.
Awana is a kids club open to kids 3 years of age to 6th grade.” Awana will be starting on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.    Awana programs in Illinois and Wisconsin reaches out to over 30,000 children and youth. You do not need to belong to this church to participate in Awana.
