Second Annual Party with a Purpose - Chicago Writers Conference Event

Join us for our annual Party with a Purpose to benefit our scholarship and programming offerings!

Join us and Chicago literary lovers for our annual fundraiser which allows us to continue our free programming (like An Evening with the Dissolve) and scholarships to literacy tutors in Chicago via our partners, Open Books and 826CHI.

In our first two years, we awarded ten scholarships. This year, we're doubling our efforts to offer 20 scholarships!

Each ticket includes:
One drink
Appetizers
Silent auction
Live entertainment

The silent auction features, among other cool prizes, Cubs Box Seats, floorside seats at Allstate Arena, Gift Cards for local restaurants and concert tickets, and cookbooks by some prominent Chicagoans.

You'll enjoy readings by Christine Sneed (Little Known Facts) and Eric Charles May (Bedrock Faith), with a performance by The Q Brothers. (They do hip-hop Shakespeare. Trust us, you'll want to see it. These guys are A-mazing!)

Our emcee for the evening is Elysabeth Alfano, of Fear No Art's The Dinner Party.

Admission: One for $50 or Two for $90. Bring a friend and you each save $5!
