Pythagoras Children’s Academy (PCA) of The Greek Orthodox
Church of Saint Demetrios in Elmhurst, Ill. will host an open house for current
and prospective students on Friday, February 21.
Established in 1998, PCA offers full-time preschool, pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, in addition to 1st -4th grades.
Top
quality Christian education in a loving, nurturing environment. Curriculum is aligned with Common Core, based on state standards. Religion classes, and Greek language instruction at all levels. Low student-to-teacher ratios, art and music classes, and technology integrated into the curriculum. After school care (preschool-PreK) and after
school clubs (K-4), including Greek Dance, Art Club, Math Club and Drama Club. A four-week summer camp is also offered.

Prospective
students and families can meet the teachers, tour the school and learn about
the curriculum, from 5:30-6:30 pm. From 6:30-8:00 pm, current students and
families can tour the child’s classroom, get a closer look at student progress
this year, and go on a fun scavenger hunt, plus get acquainted with teachers
and curriculum for the next grade level.
PCA is
located at The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Demetrios, at 893 N. Church Road
in Elmhurst, Ill.
