Community Corner

Monster Mash

The Bensenville Park District will hold their annual Monster Mash event on Wednesday, October 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.  The cost for admission will be $2 per person at the door.  This year's Halloween event will be held in the gym at the Deer Grove Leisure Center located at 1000 W. Wood Street and will now include fun activities for all ages and families.

During the event families can wear their costumes and enjoy a variety of Halloween themed games, music, and prizes.  Some of the games included in the evening’s festivities will be a pumpkin toss and candy corn bowling.  Children will also be able to play on the castle moon jump.  At the event families can indulge in an assortment of treats sold at the concessions area.  Prizes will be given to the top three best costumes.  Attendees will also be able to win prizes during the Monster Mash drawings.

“As a park district we are trying to bring the community together to have a fun, spooky, and safe Halloween event for all ages,” said Kelly Nagle, Recreation Supervisor for the Bensenville Park District.
