Guitar Players Swap Meet Will Benefit the Elmhurst Yorkfield Food Pantry

Dig that old banjo out of the closet,
that guitar from under the bed or that broken microphone from the drawer. Then
head on over to Fitz's Spare Keys, 119 N. York Road, Elmhurst, on Saturday May
3 from noon until 5 p.m. Affordable guitars, amplifiers and accessories for the
starting or professional musician will be offered for sale or trade at a
player’s swap meet.

Don't know the value of grandpa's old
acoustic? Bring it along. Price guides and appraisals will be available. Enjoy
live entertainment and open mic. Food and drinks will be available throughout
the event. Plenty of free parking is available just steps from the event at the
Public Parking Garage located at Schiller Avenue and Robert Palmer Drive.

For admittance, bring a donation of
non-perishable food, sealed personal hygiene items or a cash donation to
benefit the Elmhurst Yorkfield Food Pantry. There also will be a raffle for
donated musical items including an entire starter guitar package with
amplifier. Freewill donation, free parking and live entertainment equal
affordable fun while helping those in need.
