Free Monthly Workshops

Dr. Kelly Synowiec-Moroney is pleased to offer a series of free monthly health workshops through the end of the year.  The workshops will all take place on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am at Tree of Life Chiropractic Center, 551 S. Spring Rd. in Elmhurst. 

The first workshop in the series, titled “Say YES to Less Stress: Raising a Stress-Free Family in a Stressed-Out World,” will take place September 17.  Points addressed will include the different types of stress, stress management techniques, how chiropractic can help and more.

The second workshop in the series, “Detoxification and Food Intolerance Testing,” will be held on October 15.  Completing a detox program, and/or food intolerance testing when indicated, can be a powerful tool in helping people experiencing symptoms with no known cause find answers.  Some of these mystery symptoms can include headaches, gastrointestinal distress, diminished mental clarity, unexplainable weight gain, food cravings and more.  The detox program is not a diet, but rather a true purification program that is built on a foundation of wholesome foods.  The workshop will detail the benefits of completing a detox or food intolerance panel, how the detox plan works to purify the body, the process of food intolerance testing, interpreting the results and more.

On November 12, Dr. Kelly will present, “Ear Infections and Antibiotics: What Every Parent Should Know,” which will address the concerns many parents have about this common childhood malady and its treatment.  Addressed will be causes of ear infections, antibiotics and their safety, alternative courses of treatment and more.

The final workshop in the series, “Safe Relief for Arthritis using Technology,” will be held December 10.  Dr. Kelly will discuss an exciting new technology, which allows her to deliver precise, targeted adjustments that truly get to the root cause of pain.  The instrument’s name, Impulse iQ®, is apt.  It is intelligent, monitoring vertebral movements as they occur during each adjustment.  This results in more efficient adjustments and allows Dr. Kelly to make each adjustment more precise, more comfortable, using just the right amount of pressure.
