Kids: Write something spooky this season and you might
win our writing contest! This year's theme is "Eyes." Original
stories, poems, and epitaphs will be accepted until October 11. Pick up an
entry form at the Help Desk or at www.elmhurstpubliclibrary.org. Winners will
get to read their entry at a program on Sunday, October 27 at 3:00 p.m. Winning
entries will also earn a Barnes and Noble gift certificate and will be
published in Kids' Ink magazine.
