The York Hockey Club is collecting toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Bring new and unwrapped toys to the varsity and junior varsity home games on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Addison Ice Rink, 475 Grace St., Addison.
Hockey action kicks off at 7:05 pm as the junior varsity faces Waubonsie. The puck drops at 8:40 p.m. for the varsity match versus Oak Park River Forest.
The collected toys will be presented to a U.S. Marine Corps reservist before the varsity game. Toys should be new and unwrapped. Stuffed animals and toy weapons will not be accepted.
