IC High School Knights Theatre Presents…VIOLET

Immaculate Conception High School Knights Theatre Productions is proud to present VIOLET.  VIOLET is a wonderful story about a young woman named Violet who has to learn to live with a horrendous scar on her face as a result of an accident.  The story follows Violet as she embarks on a journey by bus from her North Carolina farm to Tulsa, Oklahoma in an effort to be healed.   After its premiere Off-Broadway in 1997, VIOLET has long been regarded as one of the best “not-well-known” musicals in the musical theatre canon.  The production features music by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie and Shrek) with libretto by Brian Crawley and is based on the short story "The Ugliest Pilgrim" by Doris Betts.

The cast includes:  Aimee Gaspari, Colleen Maloney, Rocio Malagon, Mairi Doyle, Taylor Anne Dorband, Isabelle Munoz, Debra Barnish, Katie Fenton, Ainsley McGrath, Johnny Lajka, Anthony Barone, Brian Anzures, Hannah Hartnett, Gretchen Vitek, Martin Cabrera, Alister McGrath, Leslie Anzures, Dalia Arteaga, Maddie Aspan, and Brooke Conkle.  The play is directed by Mr. Christopher Bott with Mrs. Kerri Gaspari and Mrs. Sue Maloney serving as Parent Producers.  In addition, senior cast member, Katie Fenton, will be the Student Assistant Director for this production.
