Educator's Forum on Illinois Licensure Changes

Elmhurst College will host its first Educator's Forum on Saturday, April 12, to share information and answer questions about recent significant changes to Illinois’ educator licensure process. Combining presentations with Q&A, the Forum will provide an informal guide to licensure changes and professional planning.
Topics will include:
-What Happened to My Teaching “Certificate”? Understanding the New Licensure Language
-No More Type 75:  Now What? Comparing the Principal Endorsement and Teacher Leader Endorsement
-Endorsements are in Demand:  How Have They Changed?  What is Required to Earn Them? For ESL (English as a Second Language), Bilingual , Special Education (LBS1) and Bilingual Special Education.
