Discussion on Education Reform in Illinois

In recent years, neighboring states such as Wisconsin and Indiana have enacted landmark education reform. But here in Illinois, many of these reforms have yet to be implemented.

On Tuesday, an education policy researcher from the nonpartisan Illinois Policy Institute will discuss how Illinois can reform its government school system in a way that improves educational outcomes and puts parents in the drivers seat.

York Township GOP will host a discussion on the future of school choice in Illinois. The featured speaker is Joshua Dwyer, director of education reform at the Illinois Policy Institute.

The discussion will be held from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Elmhurst Elk's Lodge, 711 West St. Charles Road, Elmhurst. Admission is free.
