Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at Fitz's Spare Keys in Downtown Elmhurst
Some see this Tony-nominated show, live at Fitz's Spare Keys in Elmhurst. For two nights only, the Music Room hosts a high-energy emo-rock musical--and teaches a little bit of history along the way!
Andrew Jackson is mad as hell and he’s not going to take it anymore! A red-hot retake on American history, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON is an explosive mix of fact and re-invention. In a contemporary setting, it tells the story of America's controversial seventh president—the common man who invented the Democratic Party, rose to the presidency, drove the Indians west, and ultimately doubled the size of our nation. A raucous blend of outrageous comedy and biting satire, the show gets you thinking about current day politics while rocking out the infectious post-punk score. Fast, furious, and funny!
Make a night of it—food/drinks available from 6 pm and throughout the show! The show includes strong language so is not suited to children under 13. Older teens and adults will love it!
