AAUW Used Book Sale this Weekend. AAUW Elmhurst is hosting a giant Used Book Sale in the gymnasium at Jackson Elementary School (925 Swain, Elmhurst) from August 1 through August 4. Whether you are interested in mysteries, biographies, history, sports or cooking, you’ll find it covered at the AAUW Book Sale. The materials are organized into 30 different categories, including a large Children’s Section.
Hours of the Book Sale on Sunday (8/4) are 12-3pm on Sunday (8/4). This is $7 Bag Day! Fill a grocery bag with regular books for a flat fee of $7.
Proceeds from the sale are used by Elmhurst Area Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) to provide grants and scholarships for students at the local and national level. For further details call 630-834-1426 or visit www.aauwelmhurst.org.
