NEW! “The Sound of Music” at the Lyric Opera of Chicago

Join us on Wednesday, April 30 from Noon-5:30 p.m. to see the most popular family musical ever! Maria leaves the convent to take over as governess for the seven children of Captain von Trapp. She captures their hearts and the rest is history. The family’s narrow escape from Austria on the eve of WWII is thrilling, inspirational, and true! This is a cooperative trip with the Glen Ellyn Park District. Fee is $79R/$84NR and includes transportation and ticket to the show at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Seats are main floor, rear center stage. Registration deadline is March 27.
