Check Out the Elmhurst Water Polo Club

ELMHURST, Ill. –  Introducing a new outlet for swimming enthusiasts – the Elmhurst Water Polo Club!  Featuring both introductory and advanced water polo instruction, the club is designed to enhance water polo skills at all levels for fifth through twelfth graders. Club practices will include conditioning, mobility drills with and without the ball, passing, shooting, basic rules of the game, individual skill development and the concept of team play and sportsmanship with scrimmages.  Advancing athletes will progress to more advanced individual and team techniques taught by our experienced coaching staff in preparation for competitive league play offered at various times throughout the year.  Athletes must be able to safely swim 25 yards in a 7-12-feet-deep pool.  Fee is $180R/$220NR for 5th-8th grades and $190R/$235NR for high schoolers.  Club starts January 7, 2014, so register soon at www.epd.org, or contact Sarah Lagesse at slagesse@epd.org for more information.
