Last Chance to Enter Patch's Deck the House Contest
Finalists will receive $500 toward their electric bill, and one grand prize winner will get $100,000 for their public schools. Wouldn't it be nice if it was Elmhurst District 205?
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Elmhurst now that residents are getting their homes decked out with lights, garland, Santas and reindeer. And, we're pleased to welcome several Elmhurst entries in the Patch Deck the House contest.
A little friendly competition never hurts, especially when there’s $100,000 on the line.
If you think your holiday decorations are the best in town, upload a picture of your house and enter our Deck the House Contest by Dec. 16. And don’t worry about all those lights racking up the utility bill, because if you’re voted a finalist Patch will give you up to $500 to cover the expense.

Twenty-four regional finalists will be selected, then one grand prize winner.
We know some of you out there may have decorations up that aren’t the most extravagant. That’s OK! We’d still love to have a photo of your house in the gallery so we can showcase Elmhurst's holiday spirit.
