The eyes of the world are on Medinah this weekend. Just a stone's throw to the northwest of Elmhurst, Medinah is known for its pristine golf courses that have hosted many a US Open and PGA Championship. But through Sunday, Sept. 30, it's all about the Ryder Cup.
It's the first time this prestigious event has been held at Medinah; Europe currently holds the Ryder Cup, having defeated the USA in the 2010 competition in Wales. Anyone wandering the Medinah links is likely to run across some of our Team USA players, including the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson, and a host of other world renowned players from Europe and the US.
