Final Fantasy’s Cloud’s Sword

Final Fantasy VII is one of the most classic video games of all time, and its hero Cloud Strife’s Buster sword a memorable (and absurdly gigantic) blade. Relive it with this Wheaton seller’s $100 metal replica, 4’4” tall, sharp and never used, perfect for your epic final battle against Sephiroth. Or, y’know, for your costume at the next convention that comes to town.

14-Passenger Limo

Renting a limousine can be so expensive—so why not just buy one?  If you’ve got $8,500 to burn, this 1999 white stretch limo from Villa Park can be yours, complete with flat-screen TVs and DVD players and, according to the seller, “super, super clean.” About 135,000 on the odometer, so it’s been used a bit, but talk about riding in style…

1970’s Jukebox

Get your “Saturday Night Fever” on with this jukebox straight out of the 1970s, $1,150 from a Wheaton seller. Sure, modern technology means you could get the exact same music from an iPod that weighs about 349.75 pounds less, but where’s the fun in that? It comes with 150 45s, and holds 80, though fair warning: a lot of those are liable to be disco.

Lost Parrot in Lombard

This pretty viridian birdie went missing off of Fairfield and Wilson in Wheaton last Saturday—“a very sweet bird that needs to come home!” The parrot has a distinctive orange head and trim, and is also a parrot, who are uncommon in the wild around these parts. There’s a $100 reward for returning the feathery guy, so “please check your backyards if you have a bird feeder!”

Albino Burmese Python

I really hope this guy didn’t find the above parrot. They may be an ungodly invasive nuisance in the Everglades, but in Chicagoland they’re just pets—big, scaly, terrify-visitors-to-your-home pets. Still, this scaly dude’s albino-white looks are pretty nifty. If you’re interested, he’s $350 out of Wheaton. Just please don’t take him to Miami and lose track of him, okay?

Huge Maple Butcher Block

It’s an impressively big hunk of maple wood that you use for chopping up meat… what more is there to say? Except, apparently, “don't reply by saying you are out of the country and you will send someone to pick it up; I’m getting sick of you people!” Is there a trend in butcher-block Craigslist fraud? ($600,Wheaton.)
