Who we are and how we can help you

Locating a tutor can often be a daunting task for parents.  Not only can it be difficult to find a tutor but often times knowing exactly which skills to target can also be challenging.  Parents may know they need to find a “reading tutor” or a “math tutor” but they don’t know WHY their child is struggling.  This often leaves parents enlisting the help of a franchise with one-size-fits-all programs, hiring the retired teacher down the street or the “mom who tutors” at their child’s school.  I’ve encountered countless parents who have struggled with this, which is what inspired me to begin Collaborative Education Solutions (CES)…with COLLABORATIVE being the emphasized word. 

Through collaboration with the parents, tutor and CES, together we will establish the best course of instruction for each individual child’s learning style by first determining areas of strength and weakness.  To do this, I’ve teamed up with three highly educated and knowledgeable specialists who are as driven as I am to helping children succeed and parents navigate through the, sometimes overwhelming, education system. 

We realize that interpreting test results and understanding how support is provided can be as confusing for parents as trying to locate a tutor.  CES’s Education Consultants will assist parents in making informed decisions regarding their child. Our Education Consultants collaborate with parents and school personnel, conduct additional evaluations to understand the child’s needs, and/or advocate for the child and parent by attending school meetings.
