McCAFFREY TO RECEIVE ECCI CHAIRMAN’S AWARD

ELMHURST, Ill., December 2, 2013 – Human resource expert Dave McCaffrey of Predictive Personnel Assets will receive the 2013 Chairman’s Award at the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s 95th Annual Awards and Talent Showcase at the Waterford Banquet & Conference Center on Friday, January 31, starting at 6:30 p.m.

            Traditionally, the annual award is given to a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors for his/her outstanding service to the Board, Chairman and President/CEO or, in this case, to a non-Director for praiseworthy contributions or performance.

 “Dave has immersed himself in our Chamber as a Director, Committee member, volunteer, networker and sponsor,” stated John R. Quigley, Chamber President and CEO since 1999.

Outgoing ECCI Board Chair Paul Koch will present the award to McCaffrey.

McCaffrey has served as a Strategic Business Partner with Predictive Personnel Assets since 2007.  He joined the Chamber in June of 2008.

McCaffrey recently completed a three-year term on the ECCI Board of Directors as an elected Director and has served on the Chamber’s Membership Committee for three years.  He also was a Marketing Committee member for three years, and has volunteered at the Golf Outing and Steak Fry.

His business background includes 28 years of corporate sales management, including a quarter of a century at Kraft Foods, plus stints with Starbucks Coffee and Oscar Mayer.

A resident of Elmhurst. McCaffrey is an active member of Immaculate Conception Parish, including service on the Parish Council.

McCaffrey holds an associate degree in Marketing from Madison Area Technical College and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

            Established in 1918, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together to promote the civic and commercial progress of the community.
