Furniture Medic by Vanderzee Enterprise Receives Two National Awards for Business Excellence

Lynette and Steve Vanderzee, owners of Furniture Medic by Vanderzee in Bensenville, were recently honored with two prestigious awards during the annual Furniture Medic national convention, held last month in St. Louis. The Vanderzees received the Marion E. Wade Expert Award that recognizes outstanding franchise owners who prove to be the best example of excellence in business operation. The prestigious national award focuses on business excellence, growth and stability and honors only three Furniture Medic franchise owners annually.  The second award, the Marion E. Wade Master Award, is the highest award a Furniture Medic franchise can receive. It celebrates financial success, growth and leadership.  Both awards are named in honor of the ServiceMaster founder, Marion E. Wade.

The Bensenville-based franchise specializes in furniture and wood repair, custom color matching, upholstered furniture repair, specialty items, millwork, paneling, doors and banisters, cabinetry and mantels for both residential, commercial and insurance industry customers. Other services include furniture structural repair and stabilization, on-site precision repair of wood surfaces, refinishing and polishing.
