How did the business come to be?

After graduating with a degree in Nutrition and Hospitality management and working for a corporate catering company for three years, I decided to go back to school to pursue a career as an esthetician. After my first class, I was hooked. Esthetics offers a perfect blend of science and creativity that I crave and allows me to transform peoples lives through touch, effective skin care and beautiful makeup. Also, my background in Nutrition is invaluable in helping to address stubborn skin care concerns for our clientele.

After working for spas in California and Naperville, and helping to open a spa in Florida, I decided I wanted to bring my knowledge and expertise to my own location. Here at ESB we focus on high quality, effective skin care, waxing, makeup and massage at affordable pricing.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Elmhurst has a great downtown area that really supports local businesses. I also love that we are close to the train and the major expressways. It makes it extremely easy for our clients to get to us.

What does your business offer?

We offer custom facials using professional skin care on the cutting edge, chemical peels, ultrasonic microdermabrasion, massage, waxing and makeup services (including custom blended liquid foundation & airbrush). We are also starting to offer G Body Art, which is a fabulous way to add unique glitz for a special occasion or just for fun. Also, our microcurrent facelift treatment is coming soon and offers an alternative to expensive plastic surgery or fillers!

What’s a fact about your business that most customers probably don’t know?

That we have our own product line that is launching soon! It will be the perfect product for people that want to get started with professional grade ingredients at an even more affordable price!

What’s your most popular product?

Brazilian Waxing is our most popular service with our Facials coming in close behind! We only use Lycon wax which shrink wraps around the hair and does not stick to the skin like strip wax. It results in a more gentle waxing experience. Plus our wax pulls hair as short as 1/8 of an inch!
